Kervio brings quoting-to-manufacturing to US stone fabricators

SAN FRANCISCO, 9 September 2026

Cangaroo Inc. today announced that Kervio, its AI-first quoting-to-manufacturing platform for the stone fabrication industry, is coming to the United States. The US version will be available by the end of September, and the company is opening a founding partner program for American fabrication shops.

Kervio was built with Australian fabricators, and until now it has been an Australian product in a precise sense: it thinks in millimetres, prices in Australian dollars, and its pricing engine is calibrated against Australian materials, fabrication rates and install costs. None of that is cosmetic. In a quoting platform the arithmetic is the product — a system that prices a job on the wrong continent's numbers is worse than no system at all.

The US release rebuilds that layer:

Imperial throughout. Inches and feet across drawing, quoting and the fabrication output the floor works from.

US dollars and US tax handling, in place of Australian dollars and GST.

US materials and suppliers. US slab catalogues, brands and ranges rather than Australian ones.

US fabrication and install rates. The pricing engine calibrated against what American shops actually charge — and then, as always, against each individual shop's own numbers.

Everything else carries over. An enquiry arrives as an email, a builder's plan or a measurement taken on site, and Kervio reads it, lays out the pieces, and prices the whole house room by room and piece by piece. The approved quote then becomes the job: the same shapes and dimensions drive the workshop floor, with every part tracked and signed off through fabrication to install. There is no re-keying between quoting, the floor and the truck.

We are not shipping a translation. A US shop buys different slabs from different suppliers, works in inches, and charges different rates for an edge and an install. If the pricing engine does not know that, the software is decoration. That is the part we rebuilt.

Founding partners are the first American shops on the platform, and the program is built around that: they get the full platform, a one-to-one setup meeting to calibrate materials, pricing and room configurations to their own shop, and early-access pricing locked in ahead of general availability. They also get direct influence over what ships next in the US build — Kervio has no American reference customers yet, and the first shops on it will decide what the US product becomes.

Intake is deliberately limited so each shop gets direct attention during onboarding.

How to join

US fabrication shops can apply at kervio.ai or contact care@cangaroo.ai. Every enquiry is read and answered by a person within two business days.
